Governing Body Key Information
The Governing Body comprises 9 members and is made up of 5 types of Governor. Each Governor serves a term of office of four years but may serve for longer if they are re-elected/re-appointed.

Governing Body Committees are as follows:
All Governors sit on all committees with the exception of any committee in which an appeal may be heard. These committees are drawn together as required.
We have Governors who have specific responsibilities for certain areas:
Special Educational Needs: (Mrs P Roberts)
Child Protection/Safeguarding: (Mrs P Roberts)
Health and Safety: (Mrs S Drayton).
Governors are encouraged to visit the school on a regular basis to take part in assemblies, School Council meetings and classroom activities so that they become familiar with the day to day workings of the school as well as attending their committee meetings. They are held accountable to Ofsted for their strategic role in school.
